Dorothy Brown, age 89, was born on September 13, 1930 to Alva and Bettie Caudill.
She was from Jeremiah (currently living in Lexington, KY) and went to Heaven on January 30, 2020 at St. Joseph Hospital in Lexington, KY.
She was the widow of Wheeler Brown.
Surviving is one daughter, Lori Brown of Lexington, and one brother, Elmer Caudill (Olga) of Jeremiah, two sisters-in-law, Mertie Caudill and Genny Caudill, both of Jeremiah and one brother-in-law, Mark Blankenship of Ohio. Also surviving are numerous nieces and nephews who loved their “Aunt Dot”.
She was preceded in death by brothers A.D., Sterlin, Henry B., Bufford, and James Lowell. Two sisters also preceded her in death, Lora Caudill Hampton and Eva Lee Caudill Blankenship.
She was an angel on earth, who took care of her parents, her husband and her niece until their deaths. She will be greatly missed by those who loved her dearly.
There will be visitation on Friday evening, January 31, 2020 from 6:00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M. and the funeral at 10:00 AM on Saturday, February 1, 2020 at Letcher Funeral Home.
She will be buried in Hampton Cemetery beside her husband, Wheeler Brown.
