Obituary
Dorse "Frog" Walters Jr., 78 of Blackey, passed away Tuesday, March 14, 2023 at the Pikeville Medical Center. Frog was the son of the late Dorse and Cordia Patton Walters. Surviving are his children: Carol (Jeff), Jennifer (Gordon), Marcus (Carrie), and Misty (Nathan); grandkids: Justin, Tanner, McQuade (Vanna), and Makenna; great grandchildren: Jayce, and Alaska; sisters: Christine (the late Claude Adkins), Lorene (the late Larence Adkins), Wilma (Harold) Wells, Billie Miller, and Eunice (Bill) Hast; his beloved dog: Rex along with a host of nieces, and nephews, and other relatives and friends to mourn his passing. Frog was preceded in death by 1 grandchild: Larissa. Funeral 1:00 O'clock P.M. Saturday, March 18, 2023 at the Mt. Olivet Old Regular Baptist Church with Elwood Cornett, Wallace Bolling, and Bryan McIntyre officiating. Visitation 6:00 P.M. - 10:00 P.M. Friday, March 17, 2023 at the Mt. Olivet Old Regular Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the Family Cemetery at Blackey.
