Douglas Gibson

Douglas Gibson, 61 of Isom, passed away Sunday, March 14, 2021 at his residence. Doug was the son of the late Ralph and Esbie Gibson. Douglas is survived by 4 sons: Bobby Gibson (Ashley Brooks) and Billy Gibson all of Campbranch, Randall Gibson (Megan) of Thornton, and Dwight Gibson (Chamanna) of Lexington; 5 grandchildren: Macy, Miley, Rylan, Chase, and Emilia; 5 brothers: Eddie Gibson, Darrell Gibson, Rocky Gibson, Riley Gibson, and Mallie Gibson all of Isom; 7 sisters: Wilma Sexton (Norman) of Sexton's Branch, Kathleen Gibson, Lillie Lowe both of Isom, Patty Shepherd of Smoot Creek, Allene Lowe of Jenkins, Shelia Huff (Roy) of Neon, and Betty Stanley (Greg) of Clintwood, Virginia along with a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends to mourn his passing. Doug was preceded in death by 1 brother: Bradley Gibson and 2 sister: Patricia and Joyce Gibson. Funeral: 2:00 O'clock P.M. Friday, March 19, 2021 at the Seco Pentecostal Church with Ted Collins, Tim Allen, and Buddy Collins officiating. Visitation: 2:00 P.M. Wednesday at the Seco Pentecostal Church. Burial will follow in the Gibson Cemetery at Isom, Kentucky.
