Doug Wright, 63 of Jeremiah, passed away Thursday, November 21, 2019 at the Hazard Appalachian Regional Healthcare Center. Doug was the son of the late Delbert Mitchell and Belvis Irene Gullet Wright. Surviving is his wife: Regina Banks Wright; 2 daughters: Felicia (Jonathan) Dinsmore of Whitesburg and Whitney Wright of Jeremiah; 4 brothers: Larry Wright, Barry Wright, Tim Wright, and Doyle Wright; 4 sisters: Gail Adams, Vonda Combs, Tonya Wright, and Bridget Begley; 3 grandchildren: Marlee, Avery, and Carsen along with a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends to mourn his passing. Doug was preceded in death by 1 brother: Greg Wright; niece: Sharlee; nephew: Travis. Funeral: 1:00 O'clock P.M. Saturday, November 23, 2019 at the Jeremiah Missionary Baptist Church with Caleb Combs and Robert Holcomb officiating. Visitation: 11:00 O'clock A.M. Saturday at the Jeremiah Missionary Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the Adams Cemetery at Jeremiah, Kentucky.
