Elinda Carol Meade

Elinda Carol Meade, 73 of Jackhorn, passed away Monday, July 28, 2025, at the Greg and Noreen Wells Hospice Care Center in Hazard, Kentucky. Elinda was the daughter of the late Paul and Aileen Tackett Meade. She was a long time member of the Church of Christ. Surviving is 1 nephew: Paul (Lori) Stambaugh; 3 great nieces: Kayla (Jessie) Wilks, Alexis Stambaugh, and Rachel Mae (Seth) Whitaker; 1 great nephew: Andrew Spangler; 3 great great nephews: Tucker Wilks, Tate Wilks, and Hudson Whitaker; uncle: Winston (Kathy) Meade along with a host of other relatives and friends to mourn her passing. Elinda was preceded in death by 2 sisters: Teresa Meade and Wilma Meade Stambaugh; 1 brother in law: William Stambaugh; 1 niece: Deborah Spangler. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, July 31, 2025, at 11:00 O'clock A.M. at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel with Chris Fleming officiating. Burial will follow in the Haven of Rest Cemetery at Mayking, Kentucky. Visitation will be held from 6:00 P.M. - 9:00 P.M. Wednesday, July 30, 2025, at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel.
