Ellen Rose Packard Combs, 77 of Carcassonne, passed away Saturday, December 27, 2025 at the Whitesburg Appalachian Regional Healthcare Center. Ellen was the daughter of the late Jim and Lois Kell Packard. Surviving is her husband: Earl Combs; 1 son: Lawrence (Jennifer) Combs; 1 daughter: Lisa Combs; 3 brothers: Bryan (Debbie) Packard, Bruce (Debbie) Packard and Ronnie Packard; 5 grandchildren: Matthew Gilliam, Kaitlyn Gilliam, Alex Gilliam, Shelby Combs and Earl Combs; 1 great grandchild: Rowan Combs. Ellen was preceded in death by 1 sister: Deborah Hall. Funeral: 11:00 O'clock A.M. Monday, December 29, 2025 at the Little Bull Creek Church with David Jent, Jim Fields, Greg Mullins and Dean Mullins officiating. Visitation: 5:00 P.M. Sunday at the Little Bull Creek Church. Burial will follow in the Jent Cemetery at Carcassonne, Kentucky.
