Emilia Lowe Obituary

Emilia Lowe, 85 of Thornton, passed away Sunday, September 5, 2021 at the Whitesburg Appalachian Regional Healthcare Center. Emilia was the daughter of the late Cas and Eva Collins Sexton. Emilia loved her family, going to church, working in her yard, quilting, and going to the Dairy Queen with her special niece Judy Boggs to visit friends. She was the widow of Jonah Lowe. Surviving is 3 daughters: Renna Sexton (Tim) of Colson, Kathy Lucas (Jerry) of McRoberts, and Debbie Stallard of Georgia; 2 sons: Deanie Lowe and Larry Lowe both of Georgia; 1 granddaughter: Keeka Sexton; 1 sister: Percie Adams; special niece: Lee Collins (Kenneth); great niece: Nikki Layne (Crystal); great nephew: Jeffery Reynolds (Tarren). Emilia was preceded in death by 4 brothers: Berlin Sexton, Marlin Sexton, Lester Sexton and Oscar Sexton. Funeral: 1:00 O'clock P.M. Tuesday, September 7, 2021 at the Millstone Missionary Baptist Church with Bill Craft officiating. Visitation: 6:00 P.M. Monday at the Millstone Missionary Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the Thornton Cemetery at Thornton, Kentucky.
