Evelyn (Sumpter) Burns

Evelyn Burns, 86 of Isom, passed away Friday, October 4, 2024 at the Pikeville Medical Center. Evelyn was the daughter of the late Henry Sumpter and Sarah Ison Hall. Surviving is her husband: Ronnie Keith Burns; 1 daughter: Fran Adams of Sharps Chapel, Tennessee; 1 son: Jamie (Janie) Adams of Jeremiah; 2 brothers: Floyd Hall Jr. of Nashville and Roger Hall of Johnson City, Tennessee; 2 sisters: Phyllis Combs of Hazard and Betty Kloft of Michigan; 7 grandchildren: Kaden, Cali, Hunter, Casey, Josh, Brett and Nikki; 3 great grandchildren: Cole, Parker and Kannan. Evelyn was preceded in death by a daughter: Dianna Banks. Funeral: 2:00 O'clock P.M. Saturday, October 5, 2024 at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation: 1:00 P.M. Saturday at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Evergreen Cemetery at Whitesburg, Kentucky.
