Evin "Ivan" Hall, 74 of Neon, passed away Wednesday, January 1, 2020 at the Holston Valley Medical Center in Kingsport, Tennessee. Ivan was the son of the late Bill and Sara Holbrook Hall. Surviving is his wife: Thelma Gibson Hall; 8 sons: Kevin Hall, Charlie Tackett, Anthony Tackett, Erik Hall, Evin Ray Hall, Jordan Hall, Anthony Hall, and Aidan Hall; 3 daughters: Tara Taylor, Misty Hall, and Erin Hall; 2 brothers: Bill Hall Jr. and Lloyd Hall; 6 sisters: Ruth Belford, Mary Ann Romeo, Ethel Gamble, Jean Seiter, Joan Preacher, and Mona Knight; 8 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; special friends: Mark and Bertha Eldridge. Ivan gave 11 years of service to his country. Funeral: 1:00 O'clock P.M. Tuesday, January 7, 2020 at the Deane Baptist Church with Mack Presnell officiating. Visitation: 4:00 P.M. Sunday at the Deane Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the Hall Cemetery at Beaver, Kentucky.
