Flara Jane "Janie" Finley, 74 of Sergent, passed away Wednesday, August 27, 2025 at her residence. Janie was the daughter of the late Arius K. Sr. and Blanche Bollin Holbrook. Surviving is 1 son: Philip Thomas of Sergent; 1 daughter: Rachelle (Dustin Herron) Thomas of Kingscreek; 3 brothers: Arius Holbrook Jr. of Sergent, Darrell Holbrook of Dunham and Mitchell Holbrook of Mayking; 6 grandchildren: Paul Andrew, Jana Marie, Kristen, Larry III, Carolyn and Dillon; host of great grandchildren; 2 god children: Kenna Mae and Jayda. Janie was preceded in death by 1 son: Larry Wayne Thomas Jr. Funeral: 11:00 O'clock A.M. Saturday, August 30, 2025 at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel with Freddie Hall officiating. Visitation: 6:00 P.M. Friday at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Holbrook Cemetery at Mayking, Kentucky.
