Florida (Elam) Holcomb

Florida Holcomb, 98 of Hallie, passed away Saturday, January 13, 2024, at the Hazard Appalachian Regional Healthcare Center. Florida was the daughter of the late Ambrose and Mary Ellen Back Elam. She was the widow of Willie Benson Holcomb. Surviving is 3 sons: Doug Holcomb of Hallie, Wesley Wes Holcomb, and Levi Lundy both of Maces Creek; 3 daughters: Lily Fay Coley of West Virginia, Wanda Bandell, and Nancy Cornett both of Hallie along with a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, and other relatives and friends to mourn her passing. Florida was preceded in death by a host of brothers and sisters. Funeral: 1:00 O'clock P.M. Wednesday, January 24, 2024 at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel with Wes Holcomb and Clyde Bentley officiating. Visitation: 11:00 A.M. Wednesday at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Clint Isom Cemetery at Hallie, Kentucky.
