Frances Louise Holbrook, 81 of Whitesburg, passed away Sunday, October 31, 2021 at the Whitesburg Appalachian Regional Healthcare Center. Louise was the daughter of the late Ledford and Eliza Bentley Mahan. Surviving is 1 son: Ransom (Dottie Fields) Holbrook of Georgetown; 1 daughter: Tiffany (Ronny) Goins of Whitesburg; 4 brothers: Alfred Mahan of Knoxville, Tennessee, Walter Mahan of Batesville, Indiana, Gene Mahan of Surfside, South Carolina and Eddie Mahan of Cincinnati, Ohio; 3 sisters: Virginia Hamm of Florence, Dorothy Lucas of Burlington and Lena Goebel of Union; 5 grandchildren: Luke Goins, Alli Goins, Kelsey Goins, Jackson Adams and Adam Hatton; 2 great grandchildren: Zander Hatton and Tenley Hatton. Louise was preceded in death by 1 brother: Donnie Mahan; 3 sisters: Catherine Wright, Lavada Mahan and Mary Woods. Memorial Service will be held at the Manchester Music Hall in Lexington, KY on Saturday, November 13, 2021 from 1:00 P.M. - 3:00 P.M.
