Frank "Nub" Campbell, 85 of Cornettsville, passed away Sunday, January 19, 2020 at his residence. Nub was the son of the late Finley and Suzanna Campbell. Surviving is his wife: Josephine "Cat" Campbell; 5 children: Fred (Alice) Campbell, Taffie (Jay) McCool, Mary Ann Cottrell, and Artemus (Darlene) Campbell, and Tracy Campbell all of Cornettsville; 11 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; 3 great great grandchildren; special sister-in-law: Brenda Wright along with a host of nieces and nephews. Nub played the banjo and loved bluegrass music, gardening, hunting, and fishing. Nub was preceded in death by a son: Thomas Campbell; 4 sisters: Ordrie Campbell, Lydie Campbell, Bessie Carter, and Maggie Kilburn; 1 brother: Evans Campbell. Funeral: 1:00 O'clock P.M. Tuesday, January 21, 2020 at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel with Jim Fields, Danny Dixon, and Ross Wright officiating. Visitation: 11:00 A.M. Tuesday at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Hiram Campbell Cemetery at Cornettsville, Kentucky.
