Franklin Bentley, 61, of Millstone passed away Monday, June 3, 2024 at the Hazard Appalachian Regional Healthcare Center. Franklin is the son of the late Jacob Bentley Jr. and Thelma Sexton Bentley Maggard. He is the widower of Derenia Bentley. Surviving is 1 son: Jake Bentley of Neon; 1 daughter: Tonya Gail Bentley of Millstone; 1 brother: Cecil Rondal Maggard of Whitesburg; 2 sisters: Judy Craft of Whitesburg and Leisa Anderson of Alabama; 6 grandchildren: Izaac, Chance, Gracie, Aiden, Harry and Beckett; Franklin was preceded in death by 1 sister: Cecilia Lynn Aunson. Funeral services will be held 12:00 P.M. Wednesday, June 5, 2024 at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will be 6:00 P.M. Tuesday, June 4, 2024 at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel.
