Fred Evans of Millstone, Kentucky passed away Thursday, July 1, 2021 at his residence. Fred was the son of the late Arthur Evans and Bellonia Fields Evans. He was born on September 13, 1938 being 82 years, 8 months, and 15 days at the time of his passing. Fred liked the outdoors, he loved to fish, play horseshoes, and go on picnics. Surviving are his wife of 60 years Annabelle Evans of Millstone, Kentucky they were married on January 6, 1960, 1 daughter Regina Ann Adams (Troy Adams) of Crafts Colley Ermine, Kentucky, 2 sons Kenneth Edward Evans, Brian Evans both of Millstone, Kentucky, 3 grandchildren Carrie Elizabeth (Stacy) Sturgill of Crafts Colley Ermine Kentucky, Jonathan Samuel Adams, Savannah Faith Adams both of Crafts Colley Ermine Kentucky, and 1 special great grandson Michael Xavier Sturgill of Crafts Colley Ermine, special pastors, Conard Profitt and Jabo Miles along with a host of other relatives and friends to mourn his passing. Fred was a meat cutter for over 50 years, he was kind and friendly to everyone he knew. Fred was preceded in death by his father Arthur Evans and his mother Bellonia Fields Evans, Millstone, Kentucky, 1 sister Marie Franks of Millstone, Charles Evans of Millstone, and Bobby Evans of Sandlick, Kentucky. Funeral: 2:00 O'clock P.M. Sunday, July 4, 2021 at the Calvary Temple Church with Conard Profitt and Jabo Miles officiating. Visitation: 6:00 P.M. Friday at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel and 6:00 P.M. Saturday at the Calvary Temple Church. Burial will follow in the Green Acres Cemetery at Ermine, Kentucky.
