Garnet I. Lucas, 73 of Thornton, passed away Thursday, August 20, 2020 at her residence. Garnet was the daughter of the late Earl and Rhoda Atha. Surviving is her husband: Billy Lucas; 1 daughter: Miranda Sturgill of Jenkins; 7 grandchildren along with a host of great grandchildren, brothers, and sisters. Garnet was preceded in death by 1 son: Michael William Lucas. Funeral: 2:00 O'clock P.M. Saturday, August 22, 2020 at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel with Ricky Sturgill and Bill Craft officiating. Visitation: 6:00 P.M. Friday at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Family Cemetery at Thornton, Kentucky.
