Gary Wayne Smith, son of the late Clifford and Wilma Sturgill Smith was born in Letcher County Kentucky, January 4, 1957. He entered eternal life on Wednesday, September 29, 2021, at the Whitesburg Appalachian Regional Healthcare Center being 64 years, 8 months, and 25 days of age at the time of his passing. He is survived by his wife, Carla Smith; 1 Son: Michael Maggard of McRoberts, Kentucky; 2 Daughters: Stacey Dannielle Smith of McRoberts, Kentucky; Future Fields of Cowan, Kentucky. 2 Grandsons: Johnathon and Clayton Polly; 1 Great Granddaughter: Serenity Polly; 1 Sister: Alecia Conn of Whitco, Kentucky. He was preceded in death by 3 Brothers: Michael, Roger and Bill Smith; 3 Sisters: Deborah, Judy Fields and Sonia Fields. A private service will be observed.
