Glenda (Stidham) Brown

Glenda "Kaye" (Stidham) Brown, 74, was born on July 8th 1949 in Pottersfork, KY. to the late Britton and Callie (Collins) Stidham. She passed away September 10, 2023 surrounded by loved ones. 

Kaye was a long-time member of Haymond Freewill Baptist church and served her community as a beautician for over 40 years. She spent many years as a member of the ladies' auxiliary and volunteering at God's Country Closet second hand store. She was a White Shrine member and a champion Scrabble player who loved crossword and wordsearch puzzles, sewing, and collecting buttons.

She is survived by a daughter Melissa (Duane) Dollarhide; grandsons Corey (Ashley) Dollarhide, and Dalton (Kelsie) Dollarhide; Great granddaughters Addison, and Raelia. A sister Faye (Pete) Powell and numerous special nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends to mourn her passing.  

Kaye is proceeded in death by her parents, daughter Madonna Kaye, five brothers and one sister.   

Funeral: 1:00 o'clock P.M. Wednesday, September 13, 2023 at the Haymond Freewill Baptist Church with Danny Mullins and Jimmy Johnson officiating. Visitation: 6'olock P.M. Monday, September 11, 2023 and 6 o'clock P.M. Tuesday, September 12th. Burial will follow in the Thornton Cemetaty, Thornton, KY
