Glenn Brown

Glenn Brown, 93 of Whitesburg, passed away Monday, September 19, 2022 at the Whitesburg Appalachian Regional Healthcare Center. Glenn was the son of the late William Henry and Florence Richmond Brown. He was the widower of Mattie Fern Caudill Brown. Glenn was an Army Veteran. He attended Pine Mountain Settlement School and was a long time Boy Scout Scoutmaster and Sunday School Teacher. Glenn enjoyed fishing and hunting. Surviving is 2 sons: Richard Glenn (Glenda) Brown of Dry Fork and David Allen Brown of Winchester; 1 sister: Lillian Brown Boggs of Dry Fork; 5 grandchildren: Chris (Misty), Richie (Betty), Michael, Chad (Amanda) and Janis (Mike); 9 great grandchildren: Anna Sue, Chloe, Myles, Addison, Gavin, Samuel, Tucker, Mattie and Campbell Rose "RoseBud"; dog: Dusty. Glenn was preceded in death by 1 son: Wendell Keith Brown; 1 daughter: Freda Kay Campbell; 3 brothers: William Lloyd Brown, Robert Earl Brown and Roy Franklin Brown. Funeral: 11:00 O'clock A.M. Thursday, September 22, 2022 at the Kings Chapel Church with Frank Adams officiating. Visitation: 6:00 P.M. Wednesday at the Kings Chapel Church. Burial will follow in the R.B. Caudill Cemetery at Whitco, Kentucky.
