Glenn Dale Rackey

Glenn Dale Rackey, 58 of Carcassonne, passed away Monday, March 2, 2020 at the Whitesburg Appalachian Regional Healthcare Center. Glenn was the son of the late Johnnie and Ruth Little Rackey. Surviving is his wife: Stella Roark Rackey; 2 sons: Glenn Dale Rackey Jr. of Hazard and Julius Dean (Brittany) Rackey of Prestonsburg; 2 daughters: Heather (Dustin) Woods of Hazard and Candice (Jon) Setzer of Lexington; 4 sisters: Patricia "Sissy" (Roy) Henderson of Hi Hat, Tillie (Freddie) Gibson of Hi Hat, Tammy (Sammy) Hall of Clay City, and Betty Jo (Leslie) Mullins of Hi Hat; 7 grandchildren: Glenn Dale Rackey III, Braxton Lee Rackey, Miley Brooke Rackey, Luke Westin Setzer, Grant Paul Woods, Macy Michelle Woods, and Parker Jane Setzer; special masonic brothers: Larry Miller and Steve Berger along with a host of beloved nieces, nephews, and friends. Glenn was preceded in death by 2 brothers: Verlon Rackey and Johnnie Wayne Rackey. Funeral: 11:00 O'clock A.M. Friday, March 6, 2020 at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel with Jeff Roark and other Old Regular Baptist Ministers officiating. Visitation: 6:00 P.M. Wednesday at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel and 9:00 A.M. Thursday at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel. Masonic Services: 7:00 P.M. Wednesday at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Solomon H. Whitaker Cemetery at Carcassonne, Kentucky.
