Glenna Mae (Pace) Craft

Glenna Mae Craft, of Whitesburg, passed away peacefully Friday, November 3, 2023 at the Pikeville Medical Center.

Glenna was the daughter of Oscar and Lydia Kincer Pace of Pine Creek, Ky.

She was born July 15, 1930 being 93 years of age at the time of her passing.

Glenna was married to the late Dennis Craft on November 26, 1955. They had a wonderful marriage until his death.

Glenna began teaching school at the Pine Creek School House in 1951, and continued her teaching career for approximately 35 years. She was a wonderful teacher and loved dearly by her students.

She was also a faithful member of the Mayking Baptist Church and taught Sunday School for many years.

Although Glenna and Dennis had no children of their own she was always surrounded by the love of her brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews.

We will miss her smile, her love and her laughter.

She is survived by two sisters: Rebecca (late Robert) Meade of Millstone and Charma (late Noah) Salyer of Batesville, Indiana.

Glenna was preceded in death by four sisters: Ethel (Jimmie) Wagner, Lou (Oliver) Fugate, Eileen (Bill) Craft and Margaret (Ronald) Kincer; three brothers: Vernon (Delice) Pace Robert (Helen) Pace and infant Owen Harold Pace.

Graveside Service: 2:00 O'clock P.M. Monday, November 6, 2023 at the Webb Cemetery at Mayking, Kentucky.
