Gregory Hurt

Gregory Hurt 68 of Thornton, passed away Wednesday, February 14, 2024, at the University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington, Kentucky. Greg was the son of Verna Hurt of Thornton and the late Elmer Jackson Hurt. Greg was a member of the Millstone Missionary Baptist Church for over 40 years. Greg loved his family, friends, grandchildren and his church. He especially enjoyed attending car shows with his Jeep and going fishing. He is survived by his wife René; children: Heather Hurt of Louisville, Eric (Terrah) of Madisonville; grandchildren: Hunter Gary and Maximus Gregory; mother: Verna Hurt of Thornton; brother: Danny (Brenda) Hurt of Thornton; niece: Vanessa (Randy) Vanover of Jenkins; nephew: Erich (Stacy) Hurt of Thornton; great niece: Ashley Vanover of Jenkins; mother-in-law: Geraldine Miles; brother-in-law: Christopher Miles along with a host of other relatives and friends to mourn his passing. Gregory was preceded in death by his father: Elmer Jackson Hurt; sister: Regina Hurt; father-in-law: Gary Miles. Funeral: 12:00 O'clock Noon Friday, February 16, 2024, at the Millstone Missionary Baptist Church with Bill Craft officiating. Visitation: 6:00 P.M. Thursday at the Millstone Missionary Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the Green Acres Cemetery at Ermine, Kentucky.
