Hager Trent Sr.

Hager Trent Sr., 75 of Cowan, passed away Friday, February 5, 2021 at the Hazard Appalachian Regional Healthcare Center. Hager was the son of the late Bob and Virgie Tyra Trent. Surviving is his wife: Margaret Day Trent; 2 children: Tammy Trent and Hager Trent Jr. (Charlotte) all of Cowan; grandchildren: Christopher Trent of Cynthiana, Nicholas Trent of McCalla, Alabama, William Hampton of Mooresburg, Tennessee; great grandson: Colton Jackson of Whitesburg; grandson-in-law: Brad Jackson; siblings: Faye Garcia of Deer Park, Texas, Barbara Brown (Ralph) of Columbus, Indiana, Bob Trent Jr. of Water Valley, Patricia Posen of Lombard, Illinois, Bennett Trent (Sherry) of Water Valley, Ken Trent of Whitesburg, and Linda Brown (Steve) of Whitesburg along with a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends to mourn his passing. Hager was preceded in death by 1 grandchild: Amber Jackson; siblings: Maxine Adams, Pauline Webb, Lorene Lee, Fairy Duncan, and Charles Trent. Funeral: 1:00 O'clock P.M. Tuesday at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel with John Conn officiating. Visitation: 6:00 P.M. Monday at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Trent Cemetery at Cowan, Kentucky.
