Hannah Burke, 69 of Eolia, passed away Thursday, April 14, 2022 at the Whitesburg Appalachian Regional Hospital. Hannah was the daughter of the late Henry and Myrtle Brock Baker. She was married to Roger Burke on July 3, 1970. Surviving is her husband: Roger Burke; 1 son: Roger Dale (Melissa McKnight) Burke; 1 daughter: Myrtle (Donnie) McKnight; 3 sisters: Ossie, Maureen, and Dorsey; 4 brothers: James, Rod, Benny, and Tommy; 5 grandchildren: Amber (Christian), Kayla (Willie), Ethan, Jaylyn, and Noah; special uncle: Richard Carter along with a host of friends and relatives to mourn her passing. Hannah was preceded in death by 4 sisters: Allie Mae, Gaye, Shirley, and Pearl. Graveside service: 1:00 PM Sunday, April 17, 2022 in the Boggs Cemetery at Eolia. Visitation: 7:00-10:00 PM Saturday at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel.
