Harold Glen "Bull" Collins passed away on Saturday, December 27, 2025 at the Whitesburg Appalachian Regional Hospital.
Bull was the son of the late Earnest and Verna Frazier Collins.
He was born July 16, 1932 being 93 years, 5 months and 11 days of age at the time of his passing.
Bull worked in Perry County for around 30 years for Kodak Mining Company. He was a foreman and then superintendent for 20 plus years. He was a family man with 5 boys and 1 stepson. He loved his sons, grandkids and great grandkids. He will be deeply missed by all of his family and friends that knew him.
Surviving are his second wife: Brenda Fields Collins; 5 sons: Jerry Glen (Vicki) Collins of Cowan, Greg Collins, Orville Collins, Wayne (Nikki) Collins all of Rockhouse, Danny (Juliana) Collins of Hilo, Hawaii; 1 stepson: Kevin; 8 grandchildren: Heather (Travis) Caudill, Glen (Brittney) Collins, Talmadge Collins, Darla Collins, Olivia (Josh) Proffitt, Danny (Je'anie) Collins, Owen, and Kane; great grandchildren: Colton (Fiancee Bailey) Maddox, Remi, Beckham, Benham, Grey, DW, Dahlia; very special friend and cousin: Kim Maggard along with a host of nieces, nephews, close friends and other relatives to mourn his passing.
In lieu of flowers donations are suggested to the Letcher Manor Nursing Home.
Bull was preceded in death by his parents, the mother of his children: Anice Caudill; siblings: James H., Susie, Raymond Gene, Bill and Earnest Jr.
Funeral: 12:00 O'clock Noon Saturday, January 3, 2026 at the Letcher Independent Baptist Church with Bill Jones and Roy Slone officiating. Visitation: 6:00 P.M. Friday at the Letcher Independent Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the Earn Collins Cemetery at Rockhouse, Kentucky.
