Harrison Keith Boggs

Harrison Keith Boggs, 69 of Kingscreek, passed away Wednesday, December 6, 2023 at the University of Kentucky Hospital in Lexington. Harrison was the son of the late Mae and Harrison Boggs. He is survived by his loving wife of 49 years: Vickey; 1 son: Eric (Jamie) Boggs of Kingscreek; 1 daughter: Victoria (Dwayne) Caudill of Kingscreek; 5 grandsons: Braxton (Monica) Caudill, Brady and Mason Boggs and Easton and Gunnar Caudill; 1 great grandson on the way: Knox; brothers: Bill (Judy) Boggs, Tim (Melinda) Boggs; sisters: Bokey Hogan, Sonja Kohl, Becky Mohn, Eula Brown and Deanie Pack; extended family member: John Cornett of Kingscreek along with a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Harrison was preceded in death by 1 brother: Kelly "Buddy" Boggs. Harrison was a retired carpentry teacher for the Letcher County Schools where he made an everlasting impact on all of his students. He enjoyed spending time at his lakehouse in Tennessee where he made many new friendships with all the residents at Hopper's Bluff and Squirrel Lane. Above all else Harrison was a family man and loved being engaged in his grandsons lives. He was an avid LCC and WMS fan. He attended all basketball and baseball games where he was always their #1 Fan. Harrison was known by many and will be greatly missed. Funeral: 12:00 O'clock Noon Monday, December 11, 2023 at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel with Johnny Banks officiating. Visitation: 6:00 P.M. Sunday at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Boggs Cemetery at Kingscreek, Kentucky.
