Harrison Monroe Stidham, age 76 of Dry Fork, entered eternal life on February 28, 2023 at his home of Dry Fork. Harrison was the son of the late Eli and Margie (Adams) Stidham. Harrison is survived by his ex-wife: Wanda (Tyree) Stidham; three sons: Jeffrey Stidham of Falls Branch, TN., Jason Stidham of Lexington, KY. and Brandon and Stephanie Stidham of Dry Fork. Six grandchildren: Tymen and Morgan Stidham of Blackey, KY., Caleb Stidham, Stesha Stidham, Chloe Stidham, Carson Stidham and Callie Stidham all of Dry Fork. Also surviving is one brother: Jimmy Stidham of Dry Fork; three sisters: Eveline (Stidham) May of Hickory, N.C., Tonie (Stidham) Delph of Dayton, Ohio and Debbie (Stidham) Mace of Morganton, N.C.; former daughter-in-law: Leah Bremiller; special friend: Marvin Caudill; Army Buddy: Cecil Walden and Friend: Melissa Gatton. Harrison is preceded in death by three brothers: Emery Stidham of Dry Fork, William Stidham of Premium and Billy Stidham of Payne Gap; two sisters: Janet (Stidham) Adams of Louisa and Judy (Stidham) Caudill of Doty Creek. Harrison was a retired coal miner of 22 years, 19 of those were spent at Scotia Mines. Harrison was a proud member of the U.S. Army and a veteran of the Vietnam War. Harrison will be mourned by a host of other family and friends. Funeral: 12:00 O'clock Noon Saturday, March 4, 2023 at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel with Paul Tyree officiating. Visitation: 6:00 P.M. Thursday and 6:00 P.M. Friday at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the American Legion Cemetery at Whitesburg, Kentucky.
