Hazel Bowling

Hazel Bowling, 78 of Jeremiah, passed away Saturday, June 21, 2025 at the Whitesburg Appalachian Regional Healthcare Center. Hazel was the daughter of the late Raymond and Margaret Caudill Bowling. Surviving is 1 daughter: Margaret Ann Venkateswaran and son-in-law: Mani Venkateswaran of White Plains, New York; 1 son: Mark Anthony Bowling of Jeremiah; 2 brothers: James Bowling of Jeremiah and Darrel Brown of Indiana; 3 grandchildren Avantika Venkateswaran, Maya Venkateswaran and Ashley Venkateswaran; 1 niece: Trudi Christy and 1 nephew: Tony Brown both of Indiana; a beloved cousin Lori who she thought of as a niece. Hazel was preceded in death by 1 sister: Bonnie Lou Bowling. Visitation: 6:00 P.M. - 9:00 P.M. Thursday at the Mt. Olivet Old Regular Baptist Church. Funeral:11:00 O’clock A.M. Friday, June 27,2025 at the Mt. Olivet Old Regular Baptist Church with Allen Fugate, Roy Slone, Danny Dixon and Elwood Cornett officiating. Burial will follow in the Pearl Dixon Cemetery at Blackey, Kentucky.
