Hazel Ilene Eldridge

Hazel Ilene Eldridge, 68 of Hallie, passed away Tuesday, May 13, 2025 at the Whitesburg Appalachian Regional Healthcare Center. Ilene was the daughter of Freida Sumpter McCool of Cowan and the late Raymond McCool. Ilene was a licensed ARNP for over 15 years. She enjoyed taking care of her patients and getting to know them on a personal level. Surviving other than her mother is her husband: Delbert Eldridge; 2 sons: Jason Eldridge of Hallie and Jordan Eldridge of Cornettsville; 2 special daughters-in-law: Melissa Eldridge of Hallie and Patricia Eldridge of Cornettsville; 2 brothers: William J. McCool of Cornettsville and Bobby McCool of Van Lear; 2 sisters: Darlene Campbell of Hallie and Delana Caudill of Viper; 5 grandchildren: Jaydison, Hanna, Jovie, Hank and Levi. She was preceded in death by 1 brother, Raymond Lewis McCool.  Funeral: 12:00 O'clock P.M. Friday, May 16, 2025 at the Cedar Grove Church with Danny Dixon, Elwood Cornett, Jim Fields and Scottie Halcomb officiating. Visitation: 11:00 A.M. Friday at the Cedar Grove Church. Burial will follow in the Baldwin Campbell Cemetery at Hallie, Kentucky.
