Henrietta (Niece) Absher

Henrietta Absher, 85 of Whitco, passed away Saturday, July 20, 2024, at her residence. Henrietta was the daughter of the late Dennis and Edna Brock Niece. She was the widow of Billy Absher. Surviving is 7 children: Brenda Dale Banks of Richmond, Curtis Absher of Whitco, James (Darlene) Absher of Cowan, Timothy (Shelia) Absher of Whitesburg, Michael (Jennifer) Absher of Whitco, Beverly (BB) Roark of Kingscreek and Brenda Absher of Whitco; 3 brothers: James Carfa Niece of Whitco, Chester Lee Niece of Whitesburg and Jimmy Darrell Niece of Eolia; 1 sister: Joyce Niece Standifer of Whitco along with a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren. She loved her dogs: Lady, Stormy and Bay Bay. Henrietta was preceded in death by 1 granddaughter: Serria Absher; 1 grandson: Christopher Banks; siblings: Mae Hatton, Aggie Hatton, Ralph Niece, Bud Niece, Juanita Adams, Sue Hubbard, Maxine Dollarhide; son-in-law: Donnie Banks. Funeral: 1:00 O'clock P.M. Tuesday, July 23, 2024 at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel with John Conn, Rodney Allen and Jamie Niece officiating. Visitation: 6:00 P.M. Monday at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Green Acres Cemetery at Ermine, Kentucky.
