Hester (Blair) Back

Hester Blair Back, 78 of Blackey, passed away Saturday, June 27, 2026 at the Greg and Noreen Wells Hospice Center in Hazard, Kentucky. Hester was the daughter of the late Lillie and Hattie Caudill Blair. Surviving is her husband: Ronnie Back; 1 son: Byron Wakefield Back (Michele) of Martinsville, Indiana; 2 brothers: Herman Blair (Judy) and Comman Blair (Martha Sue); 7 grandchildren: Sydney, Andrew, Allison, Morgan, Kylie, Drew and Holden; 6 great grandchildren: Creed, Isaac, Penelope, Memphis, Magnolia and Adeline. Hester was preceded in death by 1 son: Jason Isaac "Ike" Back (Shirley); 2 brothers: Truman Blair (Sharon) and Lester (June). Funeral: 1:00 O'clock P.M. Tuesday, June 30, 2026 at the Mt. Olivet Old Regular Baptist Church with Danny Dixon and Jim Fields officiating. Visitation: 11:00 A.M. Tuesday at the Mt. Olivet Old Regular Baptist Church. Private Burial will follow. In lieu of flowers donations are suggested to the Greg and Noreen Wells Hospice Center in Hazard, Kentucky.
