Hubert Caudill

Hubert Caudill, age 81, of Mayking, Kentucky, passed away on October 22, 2023, at Whitesburg ARH in Whitesburg, Kentucky. Hubert was born on December 8, 1941, a son of the late Bert Caudill and Ruby Melton Caudill. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his stepson, Charles "Chuckie" Isaacs, Jr., his stepdaughter, Rita Isaacs Fields, and a sister Geraldine Caudill. He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Lula Belle Wright Caudill, his sons, Mitchell (Lee Ann) Caudill of Pikeville, Burtis (Tonya) Caudill of Mayking, granddaughter Teeara Caudill, grandson CJ (Jessica) Slone of Greenville, TN and great-granddaughter, Kaylynn Slone, a sister, Audrey Miller and a brother, Lester Caudill both of Isom. Hubert was a loving husband, father, and papaw. His granddaughter Teeara was the true light of his life. Hubert loved pretty days on his front porch where he could always be found sitting on his infamous milk can. He loved to feed the birds and squirrels and spent hours watching them in his front yard. Visitation will be at Letcher Funeral Home, 102 Main Street, Whitesburg, KY Tuesday, October 24, beginning at 4:00 P.M. for family and 5:00 P.M. for the public. Funeral Services will be at Letcher Funeral Home, Wednesday October 25, at 11:00 A.M. with Johnny Mullins and Glennis Morris officiating. Burial will be at the Craft Family Cemetery, Mayking, Kentucky.
