Hubert Eldridge Obituary

Hubert Eldridge, 91 of Blackey, passed away Wednesday, September 30, 2020 at the Greg and Noreen Wells Hospice Care Center in Hazard, Kentucky. Hubert was the son of the late Henry and Lucinda Fields Eldridge. He was the widower of Ethel Caudill Eldridge. Surviving is 6 sons: Emory (Glenna) Caudill of Blackey, Darell (Judy) Eldridge of Princeton, Stephen (Tina) Eldridge of Tampa, Florida, Jack (Betty) Eldridge of Owensville, David Eldridge of Blackey, and Mike (Karen) Eldridge of Blackey; 1 daughter: Verna (Clifton Jr.) Caudill of Richmond; 3 sisters: Betty Sue Williams of Shelbyville, Indiana, Stella Shelton of Crab Orchard, and Arlie Simpson of Crab Orchard; 17 grandchildren; 35 great grandchildren along with a host of great great grandchildren. Funeral: 11:00 O'clock A.M. Saturday, October 3, 2020 at the Mt. Olivet Old Regular Baptist Church with Elwood Cornett, James Caudill, Toby Breeding, and Danny Dixon officiating. Visitation: 6:00 P.M. Friday at the Mt. Olivet Old Regular Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the Uncle Pearl Dixon Cemetery at Blackey, Kentucky.
