Irene (Haynes) Addington

Irene Addington, 100 of Ermine, passed away Friday, May 17, 2024 at her residence. Irene was the daughter of the late Jim and Mary Hart Haynes. She was the widow of Leonard E. Addington. Surviving is 2 sons: Kenneth Gail (Betty) Addington of Prestonsburg and Gregory K. (Stephanie) Addington of Cowan; 1 daughter: Phyllis Jenell (Curtis) Adams of Morristown, Indiana; 5 grandchildren: Tammy Neuenschwander, Michael Adams, Jala Hart, Candice Eldridge, Larissa Russell; 13 great grandchildren; 11 great great grandchildren; a beloved niece: Linda Clark and special friends: Kathy Dollarhyde, Christine Frye and her little Brody. Irene was preceded in death by 1 daughter: Judy Carol (Fred) Smiley and a host of brothers and sisters. Funeral: 12:00 O'clock Noon Monday, May 20, 2024 at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel with Cecil Howard officiating. Visitation: 6:00 P.M. Sunday at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Evergreen Cemetery at Whitesburg, Kentucky.
