Irene Caudill (Fields) Jent

Irene Caudill Jent, 94 of Redfox, passed away Thursday, October 19, 2023, at the Homeview Health and Rehabilitation Center in Franklin, Indiana. Irene was the daughter of the late Johnny and Ona Hampton Fields. She was a member at the Mt. Olivet Old Regular Baptist Church. Surviving is 1 daughter: Debbie (Buck) Adams; 2 sisters: Doreen Calhoun of Blackey and Iantha Adams of Speedwell, Tennessee; daughter in law: Mary Caudill of Ulvah; son in law: Johnny Combs of Isom; 4 grandchildren: Janet Ridener of Redfox, Emily Adams of Martinsville, Indiana, David (Betty) Combs of Lexington, Kentucky, and Benji Caudill of Ulvah; 4 great grandchildren: Haley Ridener and Carter Ridener both of Mooresville, Indiana, Ethan Combs of Thornton, and Stephanie Caudill of Whitesburg; 2 special friends: Barb Adams and Allie Slone along with a host of other relatives and friends to mourn her passing. Irene was preceded in death by her 1st husband: Arnold Caudill; 2nd husband: Arnold Jent; 1 son: Ronney Caudill; 1 daughter: Linda Combs; 3 brothers: Bobby Fields, Arnold Fields, and Dorse Fields; 2 great grandchildren: Jordan Hargis and Cody Hargis. Funeral 12:00 O'clock Noon Sunday, October 22, 2023, at the Mt. Olivet Old Regular Baptist Church with Elwood Cornett, Toby Breeding, Danny Dixon, and Boyd Carmack officiating. Burial will follow in the Whitaker Cemetery at Letcher, Kentucky. Visitation 5:00 P.M. - 10:00 P.M. Saturday, October 21, 2023, at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel.
