Isabell Taylor Pease, of Ermine, was a caring mother, wife, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. She departed this world to her heavenly home at Whitesburg ARH, surrounded by her family, on February 1, 2024. She lived a blessed life at 91 years old.
Isabell was born to Peggy (Slaven) and Dan Green Taylor on November 27, 1932. She married Joe Pease on May 6, 1950. They lived in Ermine, Kentucky. They had three children: Douglas, Peggy and Rickey Joe.
Isabell is survived by her daughter, Peggy Pack. Three grandsons: Kevin (Chenoa) Pack, Mikey (Cecilia) Pack and Joshua Pease. She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren: Houston (Kaytlin) Watts, Marissa Pack, Chloe (Dawson) Lackey, Shaylee Pease, Landon Pease, Scott Pack and Joseph Pack. One great, great grandchild: Greyson Lackey. One daughter-in-law, Teresa Pease. She also leaves behind one special friend: Irene Addington and a host of friends and family to mourn her passing.
Isabell enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Her favorite hobby was quilting and sewing. She was a member of the Craft Colly Baptist Church.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Peggy and Dan Taylor. Her husband, Joe Pease. Two sons: Douglas and Rickey Joe Pease. Four sisters and four brothers. One grandson: Joseph Pease.
Funeral: 1:00 O'clock P.M. Saturday, February 3, 2024 at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel with Cecil Howard, Frank Adams and Bill Craft officiating. Visitation: 6:00 P.M. Friday at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Evergreen Cemetery at Whitesburg, Kentucky.
