Jack Dean Cornett, 83 of Isom, passed away Tuesday, September 1, 2020 at his residence. Jack was the son of the late Isaac and Alma Frazier Cornett. Surviving is his wife: Ursula Cornett; 3 children: Sonia Stagner, Stanley Cornett, and Michael Cornett; grandchildren: Zachary Cornett, Jack Cornett, Layla Cornett, Allie Cornett, Solomon Cornett, Caitlin Howard, Terren Stewart, and Corey Stanger; 6 great grandchildren. Jack was preceded in death by a son: James Cornett. Jack was a 20 year Army Veteran and was a veteran of Vietnam and Korea. He attended, with his family, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. He loved his country, his family, and his friends. He will be missed. Funeral: 2:00 O'clock P.M. Saturday, September 5, 2020 at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel with Vanison Richie officiating. Visitation: 6:00 P.M. Thursday at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the R.B. Caudill Cemetery at Whitco, Kentucky.
