Obituary
Jack Cornett, 73 of Jeremiah, passed away Sunday, April 2, 2023 at the Hazard Appalachian Regional Healthcare Center. Jack was the son of the late James Monroe and Ocie Halcomb Cornett. Jack was a Veteran of Vietnam. Surviving is his wife of 48 years: Carolyn Cornett; 3 sons: Travis (Andra) Cornett of Winchester, Toby (Mitzi) Cornett of Blaine, Tennessee and Thad Cornett of Jeremiah; 4 sisters: Genora Bell Cardwell of Tiffin, Ohio, Marilyn Miller of Tiffin, Ohio, Linda Reed of Dry Fork and Judy Cornett of London; 2 grandchildren: Tommy Lane and Amelia Rose; dog: Buddy. Jack was preceded in death by his siblings: Dempsy, Cecil, Ronnie, Johnny, Ernie, E.L., Norma Nell and Kathy. Visitation: 6:00 P.M. - 10:00 P.M. Thursday, April 6, 2023 at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel.
