Jackie Lee Sexton

Jackie Lee Sexton, 77, of Colley passed away Sunday, June 2, 2024 at the Whitesburg A.R.H Hospital. Jackie is the son of the late Edward M. Sexton and Esta Mi Collins Sexton. He is the widower of Betty Anne Gumm Sexton. Surviving are brothers: Buddy D. Sexton (the late Jeanette) ; Albert R. (Doris) Sexton; Marvin P. (Barb) Sexton; preceded in death by brother Bennett Sexton (Zelma), Bruce E. (Karen) Sexton. Surviving sister: Tishia Mae Collins (the late James). Preceded in death by sisters: Violet M. Benton and (the late Jack), Barbara B. Adams (the late Bill), Josie F. Collins (Frank), Hazel L. Sexton and Susie E. Sexton. Twelve Nieces and Thirteen Nephews and a host of great nieces, nephews friends and relatives to mourn his passing. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Thursday, June 6, 2024, at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will be at 3:00 P.M. Wednesday, June 5, 2024 at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Ed Sexton Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family has asked that donations be made to the Bluegrass Care Navigators.
