James "Sunshine Boy" Caudill, 78, of Ovenfork passed away Wednesday, June 24, 2020 at the Greg and Noreen Wells Hospice Care Center. James was the son of the late Howard and Mattie Fields Caudill. Surviving are 3 Sons: James "Hoss" Caudill of Georgetown; David Steven Caudill of Elk Creek; and Joseph Howard Caudill of Blackey; 2 Brothers: Tommy Caudill of Scottsburg Indiana; William Powell Caudill of Hazard; 2 Sisters: Geneva "Gib" Jeffers of Lexington; Poob Combs of Acuff; 7 Grandchildren; 5 Great Grandchildren. Funeral 1:00 P.M. Saturday, June 27, 2020 at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel with Darrell Caudill and Allen Fugate officiating. Visitation 6:00 P.M. Friday, June 26, 2020 at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Caudill Cemetery at Big Branch in Perry County.
