James D. Haney, 70 of Whitesburg, passed away Wednesday, May 11, 2022 at the Whitesburg Appalachian Regional Healthcare Center. James was the son of the late Paul and Jeanette Laundry Haney. Surviving is 2 daughters: Sharon Leann Ramey (Kevin) and Ashley Marie Lea (Jimmie); 2 brothers: Kenneth Ray Haney (Lyn) and Arthur Perry Haney (Donna); 2 sisters: Paulette Marie Haney Booth (Billy) and Laura Ann Haney Robbins (Dan); 6 grandchildren: Elizabeth Grace Ramey (Isaiah), Charles Jacob Ramey, Sasha Nishea Tackett, Savanna May Dawson, Rebecca Noel Lea and Mason Connor Douglas Lea; 2 great grandchildren: Lillian Amerson McDaniel and Luke Greyson Tackett. Services will be at Jacobson Park Pavilion 1 by the boat dock 6:00 P.M. Thursday, July 7, 2022.
