James Sidney Owens

James Sidney Owens, 82 of Eolia, passed away Monday, January 1, 2024, at the Greg and Noreen Wells Hospice Care Center in Hazard, Kentucky. James was the son of the late Claude and Mildred Cox Owens. Surviving is his wife: Brenda Carolyn Caudill Owens; 1 son: James Patrick Owens; 3 daughters: Leisa (Johnny) Horne, Bobbie (Jose) Padilla, and Tracey (William) Craft; 1 brother: Henry Earl (Sue) Owens; 8 grandchildren: Kaitlyn (DJ) Santosmejia, Mallory Santosmejia, Kenzie Craft, Sydney Craft (Dylan), Ashlee (Ethan) Long, Brandon Owens, Jessica Slone, and Jaxon Slone; 6 great grandchildren; special friends: Dale and Ruth Dickerson and Mary and Chalmer Craft; special pet: Piper along with a host of other relatives and friends to mourn his passing. James was preceded in death by 1 granddaughter: Brittany Owens. Funeral 1:00 O'clock P.M. Thursday, January 4, 2024, at the Rockvine Church with Jason Caudill officiating. Visitation 6:00 P.M. - 10:00 P.M. Wednesday, January 3, 2024, at the Rockvine Church. Burial will follow in the Maggard Cemetery at Partridge, Kentucky.
