James Slone

James Slone, 79, of Cromona passed away Tuesday, July 8, 2025 at the Pikeville Medical Center. James is the son of the late James Trimble and Sabra Dudley Slone. Surviving is his wife: Sharon Vanover Slone; 1 son: John Christopher Slone of Cowan; 1 daughter: Ashley LeAnn (Andrew Carter) Stacy of Pikeville. Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 12, 2025 at the Letcher Funeral Home starting at 1:00 P.M. with Scottie Adkins officiating. Visitation: 5:00 P.M. for the family and 6:00 P.M. for the public Friday at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Haven of Rest Cemetery at Mayking, Kentucky.
