James Edward Stewart, 74, of Letcher passed away Friday, March 15, 2019 at the University of Kentucky Hospital in Lexington, Kentucky. James was the son of the late George and Reva Gilley Stewart. Surviving is his wife: Glenda Fields Stewart; 2 sons: Greg Hale of Whitco and James Stewart Jr. of Corbin; 1 daughter: Tanya Russell of Letcher; 2 brothers: Bill Stewart and Roger Stewart; 2 sisters; Judy Everidge and Sharon Adkins; 6 grandchildren: Austin Hale, Charlee Hale, Cameron Blair, Cole Russell, Chandler Stewart, and Carter Stewart; 2 great grandchildren: Cannan Hale and Conner Hale. James was preceded in death by 2 brothers: Bob Stewart and Ed Combs Jr.; 1 sister; Sandra Amburgey. No Services to be held.
