James Wesley Taylor, 62, of Mayking passed away Sunday, July 11, 2021 at the University of Kentucky Hospital in Lexington, Ky. James was the son of the late John and Doshie Elswick Taylor. Surviving is his wife Sharon Stewart Taylor; 1 daughter: Jamie Sturgill of Eolia; 3 grandchildren: Gabriella Sturgill, Gavin Sturgill, and Genesis Sturgill along with a host of other relatives and friends to mourn his passing. James was preceded in death by 1 brother: Foster Johnson. Funeral 1:00 O'clock P.M. Thursday, July 15, 2021 at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel with Drew Baldwin and Jimmy Dotson officiating. Visitation 6:00 P.M. to 10:00 P.M. Tuesday, July 13, 2021 at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation 6:00 P.M. to 10:00 P.M. Wednesday, July 14, 2021 at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel.
