Jamie Rose

Jamie Edward Rose, 53, of Fleming-Neon, Kentucky, passed away on Friday, November 21, 2025, at the UK Medical Center in Lexington. Jamie was born on May 27, 1972, in Whitesburg, Kentucky.
Jamie was preceded in death by his father, Paul Edward Rose. He is survived by his loving mother, Sondra Rose of Fleming-Neon; his sister, Pauletta Rose-Profitt and her husband Benji of Fleming-Neon; and his niece, Morgan Profitt of Fleming-Neon, along with a host of other family members and friends who deeply mourn his passing. Morgan and Jamie shared the same birthday, and he often said that sharing that day with her was the best birthday present he ever received and a special connection they would always share.
Jamie is also lovingly remembered by his special aunts and uncles: Deborah Eastridge; John and Michelle Jent; Mark and Becky Jent; Joyce Sergent, Mary Ruth and Randy Simmons, Patricia Jent and Penny and Stephen O’Brien. Their lives were all touched by his presence, his kindness, and his love for family.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 1:00 PM at Deane Baptist Church, with Chris Dool officiating. Burial will follow. Visitation will be at Deane Baptist Church after 6:00 PM on Monday, with a service beginning at 7:00 PM.
