Janice Marie (Rose) Combs

Janice Marie Rose Combs, 69 of Isom, passed away Friday, December 31, 2021 at her residence. Janice was the daughter of the late Henry and Ola Sexton Rose. She was the widow of Larry Combs. Surviving is 3 daughters: Sheryl Lynn Elliott (Aaron) of Unicoi, Tennessee, Melissa Preuss (William) of Ermine, and Mary Ellen Brewer (Joey) of Isom; 1 son: Larry Combs II (Evelyn) of Isom; 5 brothers: Delmar Rose of Ohio, Nathaniel Rose of Michigan, Randy Rose of Rogersville, Tennessee, Henry Rose of Sneedville, Tennessee, and Mitchell Rose of Florida; 3 sisters: Shelb Slone of Cleveland, Ohio, Mary Lou Rose of Rogersville, Tennessee and Henrietta Rose of Rogersville, Tennessee; 11 grandchildren: Kaitlynn Marie Preuss, Kaci Nicole Elliott, Haleigh Preuss, Megan Combs, Lacey Preuss, Cody Combs, Ethan Elliott, Hannah Brewer, Amanda Brewer, Brayleigh Combs and Jace Combs; 2 great grandchildren: Adilynn Faith Benton and Addilee Mullins; dog: Molly. Janice was preceded in death by 2 sisters; Jean Farley and Darcus Sturgill. Funeral: 12:00 O'clock Noon Monday, January 3, 2022 at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation: 6:00 P.M. Saturday and 6:00 P.M. Sunday at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Lawrence Combs Cemetery at Isom, Kentucky.
