Jesse Darrell Wright “Cowboy”, 73, of Neon, passed away on Thursday, September 23, 2021, at Pikeville Medical Center. Jesse was the son of the late Jesse and Julia Cook Wright. He is survived by his wife Dotty Tackett Wright: 1 daughter: Wendy Lucas of Neon; 1 son: Erick (Lisa) Wright of Jenkins; 4 grandchildren: Hannah Lucas, Erica Mortensen, Rachel Lucas, and Jesse A. Wright; 1 great grandchild: Luke Mortensen; 1 brother: Barry (Sheree) Wright; 3 sisters: Sharon (Allen) Riddle, Carroll (Claude) Brown, and Sherry (James) Castle.

He is preceded in death by his parents; 1 grandson: Jacob Lucas; 3 sisters: Joyce (Bill) Davis, Patty (Arnold) Playforth, & Gwenda (Freddie-still living) Castle. Also, surviving is a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

Jesse was a member of the 884 Masonic Lodge of 50 years and a member of the Shriners. Jesse enjoyed riding his motorcycle, as well as, his side by side with family and friends.

Visitation: 6:00 P.M. Monday, September 27, 2021 at Letcher Funeral Home Chapel.

Funeral: 1:00 P.M. Tuesday, September 28, 2021 with Bill Craft officiating at Letcher Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Thornton Cemetery at Thornton, KY.
