Jimmy Wayne Hall

Jimmy Wayne Hall was born in Deane, Kentucky December 30th, 1948. He passed away in the early morning of January 24th, 2026 at the age of 77 after a year battle with lung cancer.

Jimmy was preceded in death by his father Lacy Hall, mother Louise Prichard-Hall-Gates, brothers Wade, Robert Hall and Steve Hall.

He will be laid to rest on the mountain homestead where he was born resting beside his great grandparents Miles and Martha Hall, grandparents Clifton and Hattie Hall and other family members.

He is survived by Elaine Tanner, his life partner of 37 years of Deane, Kentucky; sons: Jimmy W. Hall Jr. and wife Roberta of Louisville and Aaron P. Hall and wife Nichole of Campbellsburg, Kentucky, daughter: Tammy Kidd and husband Jerry; two grandsons, five granddaughters, four great grandkids, two sisters: Katherine Pruchinsky and Deborah Baker along with many, nieces, nephews and friends.

Jimmy retired from Ford Motor Company Avon Lake Ohio Assembly plant. He worked  with the Jackson Township road crew, did landscaping held a CDL, held a real estate license and remodeled several houses during his life time. He moved to the mountain to finish off his days in 2019. 

Service will be held on Wednesday, January 28th at 1:00 P.M. at the Deane Baptist Church on Route 8061 317 Deane, Kentucky. 41812. Donations to the American Cancer Society in his honor would be appreciated.
