Jimmy Ray Adams, 81 of Jeremiah, passed away Saturday, June 20, 2020 at the Hazard Appalachian Regional Healthcare Center. Jimmy was the son of the late Emmitt and Bertie Ison Adams. He was the widower of Jean Dixon Adams. Surviving is 1 son: Mike (Fran) Adams of Sharps Chapel, Tennessee; 1 daughter: Mary (Tim) Sturgill of Shelbyville, Kentucky; 5 grandchildren: Brett, Nikki, Aaron, Connor, and Dalton; 3 great grandchildren: Parker, Cole, and Kanaan. Jimmy was preceded in death by 2 brothers: Emmitt Colon Adams and Shelby Gene Adams; 1 sister: Martha Sue Trent. Funeral: 11:00 O'clock A.M. Tuesday, June 23, 2020 at the Blair Branch Old Regular Baptist Church. Visitation: 5:00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M. Monday at the Blair Branch Old Regular Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the Shade Adams Cemetery at Isom, Kentucky.
